Original series[]
Both bananas are anthropomorphic yellow bananas with large oval eyes and a smile. Their outfits are makes up of blue and white striped button-down pajamas and yellow sneakers.
Animated series[]
They are slightly different than their costumed versions. They have long thin eyebrows, blue eyes, cheeks, and a mouth. Their outfits are made up of the same blue and white striped button-down pajamas. They don't wear sneakers in the animated series.
Personality[]
Both bananas are very hard workers - they clean the beach and are in charge of patrolling it. They are also quite strict in doing so, berating their rule-breaking friends and even each other. They play various roles throughout the series, such as being handymen, doctors, and firefighters. However, both bananas are extremely clumsy, causing them to have a hard time solving certain tasks.
B1 and B2 are fun loving. They love spending a lot of time with the teddies in various activities like working on the farm and telling stories. While they are friends with Rat-in-a-Hat, they sometimes don't get along with him and don't listen to him, especially in his shop, which makes him very angry. Unlike all the other residents of Cuddles Avenue, they love to wear pajamas, to the point that they rarely wear other clothes.
