BRL-A is an umbrella-bot aboard the Axiom. Due to the lack of rain, most, if not all, BRL-A bots are designed mainly as shade umbrellas. The reject BRL-A has a tendency to open its canopy too far, but his umbrella is thick enough to deflect lasers while he escapes with the other dysfunctional robots with EVE. In the video game, he can be also bouncy for WALL•E to land on.
