Angewomon is a angel-like character from Digimon and the rival of Ladydevimon.

Digimon Adventure[]

Angewomon is the Digimon partner of Yagami Hikari. Tailmon first evolved to Angewomon in "Wizardmon's Gift" to fight Myotismon. In Joe's Battle, Angewomon gets into a catfight with her rival, LadyDevimon. Despite having the help of two other Perfect-level Digimon (Atlur Kabuterimon and Andromon) and two Adult-level Digimon (Angemon and and Birdramon), and enjoying a type advantage over Ladydevimon, Angewomon struggles against LadyDevimon, who manages to get under Angewomon's skin and goad her into a reckless melee while rejecting the help of her allies. LadyDevimon defeats Angewomon in a slapping, hair-pulling catfight with a devastating roundhouse kick that knocks Angewomon out of the sky. LadyDevimon then prepares to finish Angewomon off with her Darkness Spear. However, Atlur Kabuterimon blocks the attack at the last moment with his hard carapace, saving Angewomon. The two then manage to defeat LadyDevimon together. When Hikari gave up the power of her crest to free the Four Holy Beasts, Tailmon lost the power to become Angewomon for a while.

Digimon Adventure 02[]

Angewomon gets into another hair-pulling, slapping catfight with LadyDevimon, who is now serving as one of Daemon's servants. The rivals exchange insults, with LadyDevimon calling Angewomon "blondie" and Angewomon referring to LadyDevimon as "witch." The two grapple fiercely in the air, with LadyDevimon eventually overpowering Angewomon by twisting both of Angewomon's arms against its sides. Finally admitting she can't defeat Ladydevimon on her own, Angewomon is forced to ask for Hawkmon's help to DNA-digivolve into Silphymon to face Ladydevimon again.
