Character[]
Ali G is a young white male from the English suburbs who has adopted African American gang and hip hop culture. He is the dimwitted host of Da Ali G Show, where he interviews various political figures, celebrities, experts and members of the general public.
Despite his desires to come off as hardcore, Ali G is often child like and innocent. He is especially protective of his grandmother, who he calls his nan, warning other gang members not to leave her rude phone messages and wearing knitted sweaters of the wrong gang colours so that she doesn't feel bad.
