Aladdin (アラジン Arajin) is a is a fictional character and is one of the two main protagonists of anime/manga series, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic along with Alibaba Saluja. He is one of the four magi and a heat magician. He is the son of Alma Torran's King and Queen, Solomon Jehoahaz Abraham and Sheba. Ugo nurtured Aladdin in the Sacred Palace and sent him out into the world to battle Al-Thamen and avert a repeat of Alma Torran's demise. He starts off the series by traveling with his flute that contained Ugo, and meets Alibaba Saluja, while he was a cart driver for Budel in Qishan.

Aladdin’s blue hair is pulled back into a ponytail. He is a little child with exaggerated facial expressions. Initially, he wears a blue vest with a small turban and has a sarashi on his chest. He wears oversized, baggy Arabian pants. He also carries his golden flute around his neck on a cord. He grows taller as the story progresses and changes his attire multiple times.

Personality

He's carefree, daring, and has been promised to travel the world with Alibaba Saluja, his friend and king vessel. He enjoys making new friends and acquaintances, and genuinely cares for them. Ugo was his first friend, whom he met in The Room of Fortitude before he was sent to earth. He is adamant on becoming a powerful magician so that he may aid his companions. He would go to any length to protect his friends, even if it meant dying for them.

Aladdin enjoys eating food, regardless of whether it is his or not. In the manga, he is shown devouring Layla's watermelons at the start of the story.

He is very perverted, even if he is very young. He likes to grope ladies with "big, soft breasts" and rubs his face on their breasts.

Aladdin is a naive young child who knows very little about the world. This is due to the fact that he spent the majority of his childhood in The Room of Fortitude. Even in dangerous situations, Aladdin remains calm and composed. He is enthusiastic about learning, as seen by his eagerness to learn from Yamraiha and in the classes he took in Magnostadt. Aladdin exceedingly wise for his age. When needed, he freely offers his advise and has thorough comprehensions of situations.

Life before entering the world

Ugo helped educate Aladdin while they were inside the sacred palace. Aladdin made a wish and asked Ugo to remain his friend before leaving the palace and entering the world. Before departing, a headless Ugo resided in Aladdin's flute and accompanied him for a portion of his voyage.

Loved By The Rukh: Being a magi, he has unlimited magoi provided from the rukh. Despite having unlimited magoi, he can strain his body if he goes to extreme lengths of magoi usage.

Magic Flute: In the beginning of his journey, a headless Ugo resided in his flute. He can blow on it to summon him, but Aladdin takes up a lot of energy to do this and can go hungry when he over does the limit.

Soloman’s Wisdom: Obtaining this skill in Balbadd, Soloman’s Wisdom allows Aladdin to communicate with other people's Rukh by accessing their "beings." As shown in Balbadd, he may also summon the Rukh of the departed, who all meet their loved ones before returning to the flow. Aladdin's power allows him to prevent people from descending farther into depravity, but he cannot reverse their dark.
