李山 (Li Shan) is a character from Kung Fu Panda 2 and 3. He is Po's father. Po and him get along very well, and unfortunately, they didn't see each other for a whole movie because he had to hide, and Po's mother died in a battle against Shen's army. He is a very tragic character, losing his baby in a war. He left the box with the baby at Mr. Ping's restaurant so that Mr. Ping could adopt Po. Po's birth name is Li Lotus, and his title name is Master Ping Xiao Po the Dragon Warrior (Chinese: 平小宝大师 龙战士, Píng xiǎo bǎo dàshī lóng zhànshì, lit. Master Ping Xiaobao Dragon Warrior). Li Shan is loving, kind, and patient. He has his moments where he gets frustrated and raises his voice a bit, between 1 and 3 times in the movie, but everyone has their moments. He's still a good panda. He is from a secret panda village in China. He is indirectly responsible for Po and the other pandas almost losing their lives, and made some questionable choices, but is reformed by the end of the movie. He was and still is a good person, but he made mistakes. That's okay, though! Every living thing makes mistakes!
